Hi, I’m Tamara Fernandes Peres and I am a pattern and graphic designer. My passion lies in creating new things and adding my own twist. From an early age I’ve been driven to create and design; My parents still remind me that I used to enjoy drawing on the wall. Apparently I thought the drawing paper was too small. And still now I look for ways to express myself creatively in my daily life.

 

After completing the Junior Stylist course at the ROC, I followed various courses at Akademie Vogue. There I discovered what motivates me: pattern design. I have developed my own style, and now I translate my vision and handwriting into my own designs, patterns and sketches. I’m intrigued by the smallest of details, and I’ll make sure to pay attention to every single detail in my designs.

 

I am driven to keep challenging myself and to keep creating. Staying inspired, while ‘coloring outside the lines’ and pushing creative boundaries is what I like to do. My work and inspiration are often very fantasy-oriented, but I also know how to work commercially.

 

I hope that I can inspire others with my work and that I can also show the magic I feel when creating my designs.
